The app is your interactive guide through the exciting first year with your baby. It comes from the Gesund ins Leben network, an IN FORM initiative of the German government.

Baby & Food provides you with information and practical support from breastfeeding, to formula milk, introducing solid foods, and family meals. The app also explains the nutrition of the breastfeeding mother and the important role of the father. It is based on the nationally uniform and scientifically sound recommendations for infant nutrition and nutrition for breastfeeding mothers from the Gesund ins Leben network.

With the app's new diary function, you can capture memories of special moments – including photos. You can also set reminders to write in your diary regularly.

Whether with meat, fish, or vegetarian: With the porridge calculator, you can create, save, and share recipes. You can also calculate larger quantities to pre-cook and freeze portions. This saves time and hassle.

Expecting parents and parents of young children can also use the app to find information on balanced nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. The Competence Center for Nutrition (KErn) and the Foundation for Child Health have developed their own apps in cooperation with the Gesund ins Leben network.
